The Grade 1s went outside today looking for signs of fall. We identified the colours of fall, the textures of leaves, and we witnessed firsthand the effects of wind on the falling leaves. Be sure to check out the photos in our photo gallery.
In both grades, we often use cards, dice, and dominoes to play games which reinforce our learning. I encourage you to keep these materials handy at home and your child can teach you the games as we learn them. Additionally, the math addition and subtraction strategy games are available on our blog.
In Math, the Grade 2s are continuing to explore the concept of adding zero. Today we played a game using dominoes, ask your child to teach you at home!
