Today we had a wonderful
afternoon where we took part in many adventures pertaining to Meteghan! We
tried some traditional food, made a lighthouse out of clay and played a fun Fishin’
Addition Game. What a great way to wrap up our Social Unit!
There has also been a
new addition to our classroom. Over the past few days we have been joined by
Elfie the Elf. He has been observing us from a plant on the back counter, an
Elfie booth from the window, a sleeping bag by the books and today he was in a
ball pit! We are interested to see where Elfie will appear next.
In Science, we learned
how our school is heated. We discovered that 7 furnaces and 3 boilers are used
in our schools heating!
Just a reminder that
tomorrow is a PD Day and there will not be any school. Enjoy the long weekend!
