Students are still hard at work preparing for the Christmas concert.  Ask your child to sing one of the songs for you.  2D will be performing: Here We Come A Caroling, Reindeer on the Roof, and Christmas Star.

In Science, students discussed the terms hotter and colder. They used these terms to describe two objects. For example: the tea is hotter than an ice cube.

Math was a filled with measurement exploration.  Students used unifix cubes to measure the distance around objects.

Today we discussed the Canada flag, we identified the two colours and the shape that is in the center.  Did you know that the maple leaf has been a recognizable and important symbol for Canada for over 300 years? It has been used to symbolize Canada, the land and its people. It is also used in the coat of arms and the flags of the Canadian Armed Force.  For more facts on our flag, click HERE
