In Math, we began our 3D Shape unit. Students learned the names of 6 different shapes (sphere, pyramid, cone, cylinder, rectangular prism and cone).
Update:
I have good news! The 100th day of school is actually on Friday. That means that we will be able to celebrate our special events on separate days!
Wednesday is Valentine's Day & Jump Rope for Heart. Remember to bring:
- Valentine's Day Cards (a class list is available in our February newsletter)
- a toonie for Jump Rope and your pledge forms
Friday is 100 Day. Prior to Friday, please send in a Ziploc bag containing 100 items (pre-counted at home). A sandwich size Ziploc is coming home today; if your child's items do not fit, feel free to use a large size Ziploc bag from home.
