Students were excited for our third library class and were met with a surprise upon entering the library. It was wonderful to have Mrs. Kloschinsky read and spend library time with our class.

Day #2 of our Words Their Way introduction went exceptionally well. Yesterday, students cut their sorts and learned all about their sorting rule (Grade 1 - initial consonant, Grade 2 - short a vs short u). Today, students independently sorted and then chose 10 words to draw and label.
