Today students signed out new Daily 5 books that are at their independent reading level and were very excited to read today; we achieved 9 minutes of read to self stamina!! This is very exciting for our class!!!
In Phys. Ed., students learned a new game with Mr. Larson called Shark Attack. They had a great time being fishes and trying to avoid being eaten by the sharks.
In Math we began our week long basic fact focus +/-1. Students learned a new game, Big Boss, where they worked with a partner to solve addition and subtraction facts based on this focus.
Reminder: Tomorrow is our library class, please be sure your child packs his/her books so that new ones can be signed out tomorrow.
