September 22, 2016

It was the perfect day for sunflower seed roasting.  This was something new for both the students and myself; we learned together as I had never done it before!  Thank you again to the Bablitz family for the wonderful sunflower donation, we have enjoyed the exploration of this fall flower this week!

Today we learned a new math game, In the Dump, that focuses on two math concepts: subitizing (the ability to 'see' a small amount of objects and know how many there are without countingand adding.  This is a game that can easily be played at home using dominoes and cards.
