HAPPY BLUE DAY!  Today the Grade 1 students blew bubbles and learned about colour tints (adding white)/shades (adding black).

As part of our week-long exploration of liquids, the Grade 2s visited Mrs. Suter's classroom, where she taught them about the states of liquid.  They learned the terms: solid, liquid, gas, and evaporation.

In art, students completed their Painted Paper Reindeer, which will be the project used for their RBES Christmas Card Fundraiser.  Watch for more information coming home soon.

In Math, the Grade 1s had their second day of their new unit, which focuses on counting backwards from 10.  The Grade 2s launched their new unit on patterning.  Today we identified pattern cores and extended repeating patterns.

I look forward to seeing many of you this evening!
