Our current Math basic fact strategy focus is making 10.  We have been using the Make 10 Rainbow to help students gain rote memorization of these facts.  Today students played a Power of Ten math game.


In Math, students used a variety of strategies to solve for missing numbers in addition and subtraction equations.  Then they used calculators to check their responses.  

We compared summer and winter on the prairies through the stories: A prairie boy's summer and a prairie boy's winter.  Parents, what is your favourite memory of growing up on the prairies?  Share it with your child.
