Today in Math, we began Unit 4 - Measurement.  Students estimated length, then used non-standard measurement to identify the length of several objects in our classroom.  Click HERE for a parent letter that describes some ways that you can support your child at home while we work through this unit.  


Students also learned the game, Whack-a-Number.  This is a basic fact review activity that you can also play at home with your child.  Details are available on the Mental Math Games page. 


In Social Studies, students learned about daily life of the residents of Meteghan. They discussed school life, whale watching, clam digging and lobster fishing.  

This month, all RBES students are hard at work preparing for their Christmas Concerts.  Please mark your calendars: Tuesday, December 4 - Grade 1-2 - 1:10 pm and 6:30 pm
