Today we continued working with the concept of "small moments" in our writer's notebooks.  Students brainstormed their favourite thing in the whole world, then told me three details about it.  

We had our first Fire Drill in the afternoon.  Students did a great job, but even with practice and warnings, the event is a little frightening.  In 2B, we talked about it before and after to ease tensions surrounding the drill.  Additional info on this is coming home by email from the office.
