Congratulations to Brooklyn, who was the 2B Student of the Week.

This morning we began our Christmas celebration by having a 2B Christmas Breakfast.  

Students enjoyed holiday themed centres after recess and then joined all other RBES students for a movie in the gym.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

Today was Tasty Tuesday, students made delicious Snowmen on a Stick.  I am excited to announce that this was the first Tasty Tuesday that all students found tasty. Typically one or two students do not care for an ingredient, but this one was unanimous!  Thank you to Mrs. Faraschuk for providing the ingredients for today's Tasty Tuesday!   

An email went out to all families today explaining our Friday celebration.  All students are encouraged to wear their PJ's or Christmas attire for the day.

• 9:40-10:10 Christmas Breakfast
• 10:10-10:25 Recess
• 10:25-11:25 - Holiday Themed Centres
• 11:25-11:55 PE
• 11:25-12:45 - Recess/Lunch
• 12:45-3:06 - RBES school-wide Winter Movie (popcorn provided, bring a waterbottle)

This morning our Elf on the Shelf joined our class, through a class vote, we chose the name Saint Nick.  Today silly Saint Nick had a bath in marshmallows while reading comic books.  That crazy elf! 

2A and 2B had an amazing time in gym, playing Dynamite with Mr. Henderson.   

Students also began their top secret Christmas craft today.  We know you will love opening it on Christmas Morning!

Annie was amazing!!!!  Thank you to Mrs. Ganton & Miss. Bengtson who joined us for the trip!

2B had a wonderful time with the sub today. 

The highlight of the day was making magnet toy elves!  Be sure to ask your child to show you how their elf can dance with the help of a magnet.  

Reminder: Tomorrow is Annie, please be sure you have completed the online permission/payment.  We will be eating at the school then boarding the bus for Leduc at 11:30.

There is so much excitement around the school surrounding our concerts!  Today we did a walk through of our concert and also had the pleasure of sitting in and watching the Grade 3/4 concert.  Wow, those of you attending this evening are in for a BIG treat!

Today we learned a new game that students can use to practice their WTW way words at home.  Here are the steps: 1. Write the numbers 1-6 on a paper.  2. Beside each number, write a tricky word (one that your child is struggling with the spelling of).  3. Roll a dice, the other person must spell the word beside that number with their eyes closed.  4. Switch roles and repeat!!
